Simbarashe Mukahanana, professionally known as ‘Virus’ was born on the 31st of January 1999. Virus is a Zimbabwean recording artist that is diverse and versatile in his art form. He sometimes switches from rap to r n b. Virus grew up in the city of kings well known as Bulawayo that’s why he is able to use three languages in his music which are Shona his mother language, Ndebele and English. Growing up, Virus was not exposed to a wide variety of music he mostly listened to Lil Wayne, Drake and Chris Brown because that’s what his friend’s brothers used to play whenever he visited them. Virus is inspired by the life he lives and his surroundings and that’s all he makes music about. He started writing his own music when he was 15 but started professional recording after finishing high school. Virus Is a Hip-hop artist whose music has been consistently improving ever since 2018 when he dropped his first single called Hustle. His music is always aimed at conveying important messages to society, by using his powerful vocals and colourful lyrics. He is currently working on new music as he pushes his debut album called Once Upon A Time In Lockdown that dropped on the 25th of September in the year 2020. About music - Discography Hustle ft. Who is Maccy Tha Preist?
They say music is organic and the telling of different stories. Words heal so many people, fix broken souls and puts smiles on people's faces. An artist is more like an author who puts everything on the line, lets the pen write and each word making a story that will hopefully will change the face of the world.
Born on 28th of November 1996, Ashley Tatenda Makutsi, was one notorious and handful kid but as time went on, maturity overtook odds as he became an extreme athlete. From being an all rounder cricket player to a playmaker for his basketball team at Mabvuku Primary school, he made a name in Mabvuku, where he grew up.
Ashley's parents divorced back in 2000, his mother moving to South Africa and he moving to Norton with his father. It was at this point music started playing a major role in Maccy's life, having new friends who had the same talent , passion and drive for music, the likes of G.I. , Atm ,Eazy from Vavhimi, Teekay, Dancehall Khedah (formerly known as Wardo).
Maccy Tha Priest released his first song titled "Gum kum" which was a remix of Soul Jah Love's dancehall hit "gum kum" . Maccy's was a hip hop version which featured Cassy, Wardo and Teekay. The song became a street anthem though disrespectful to some people ,nevertheless that made his name relevant in the streets.
Moving to S.A was never but plan but after Macy's grandfather the died, he had to. Making him realize that he had to take music seriously, Maccy Tha Priest started writing for nearly a year before dropping his first solo track "We own it" and went on to do another one with his primary school friend Yanai Ptsvuura who is known by his stage name S.k. The song was titled "Sauce" and it did well, it even went on to be nominated for song of the year at the Norton Hip hop Awards.

Listening to and following the footsteps of the great Lil Wayne, Drake, Jay Z and Ace, our boy Maccy is working on his goal of becoming a mogul on his own and creating a platform for kids who got talent but don't have the resources or are locked up by some situations hindering them from becoming be who they wanna be.
