On The Spotlight with Tuudeh Xaniiso as he drops Chitubu Mugwenga Album.

Welcome to Chitubu Mugwenga Album by Tuudeh Force the Chigodora's finest

About The Album CHITUBU MUGWENGA
The meaning Of “Chitubu Mugwenga”
“Chitubu Mugwenga” is a Shona phrase that translates to “fountain in a desert”.  The essence of something being abundantly available in an environment giving off hopeless circumstance. Imagine being stuck in the middle of the world’s biggest desert with no hope of ever finding water, then a fountain appears before, with fresh, clean water. Yeah, that’s just about how someone felt when he named his album a fountain in a desert.
Tuudeh's music talks about good and  bad times, the confusing and dreadful junctions as well as the confident moments. He cheers up the listener, motivates the desperate and reminds them that they are not the first  to struggle they way they have. Tuudeh tells the outspoken to take up a winner’s attitude and reminds the winner that, one day, the curtains will close and there shall come time when they will be laid to rest in peace.
Chitubu Mugwenga Album was  recorded, mixed and mastered at Summit Records ZW Studios Mutare. All songs composed & performed by Tuudeh Force and features the voices of Terrifiq Terry, Evonzo, Carnot SkynetYzia, Natasha, Panashe Mari and Solja.

PLAYLIST BREAKDOWN

Track 1: CHIITUBU MUGWENGA (featuring Natasha)

This song, being alphabetically the first to play in the album serves as an introduction to the album Chitubu Mugwenga and is vitally telling the story of Tuudeh Force from his childhood, on his mother’s back. This is the story before Tuudeh had become a musician, a song about the great woman who raised Xaniiso. A special song about and a special song for mama. Natasha, a female vocalist is heard in the backings, singing along. This goes out to all the strong mothers out there. You are the fountain in a desert

Track 2: DON’T DISPAIR

Second on the list, Don’t Despair! This message goes out to the one who is growing weak, to the one losing hope, probably because of mistakes that compromise lives and create gloomy futures. -----to the girl child who’s been impregnated.  This is not the end of you my sister. Be strong, this is the beginning of the story of a strong woman. Do not be desperate.  Listen, be strong. There are people out there who has a lot of things in life, rich, powerful, but they only wish for one thing and really wish they would rather have that one thing….that’s, being a parent….like you. Yes, they wish they were like you, but however…everything depends on God, and God chose to bless you with the gift of a child.

Track 3: FUDZA MOMBE

“Hi. I’m Tuudeh Force. I am a cowboy…..I am always following cattle. I’m always watching over the cattle with a stick in my hand. The rich man’s cattle should not eat the poor man’s field, so it’s my job to monitor the herd. From January to December I’m doing this. I’m just that guy…..and the girls don’t associate with me, nobody wants such trash like me hey. …….but anyway, that’s my mind is not stuck in the paddocks. I will rise from the dust. I will become someone great. I will someday leave this life of following cattle with a stick in my right hand and starting leading m own empire with a sceptre in my right hand. I will someday have my own wealth, my own family, my own space. I will not die a cowboy…no no no no!!!! .I will not die a fudza mombe.” – Tuudeh Xaniiso

Track 4: MASANGO MATEMA (featuring Evonzo & Carnot)

In the land of the black man, the teeth are treacherous. They smile even at the enemy, but they are purposed to devour. Dear Lord, open the floodgates of heaven, let your blessings fall on us, and my you shed light to our dark world. The jungles are as dark as the black that comes after a fire passes. Masango Matema is a melodic outcry plus movie style hunter’s chants laced on an instrumental whose progression is that of African traditional songs, and heavily digitalised to create a whole new subgenre that could not even be named. The beat contains a log drum, some shakers (ngoma) and shakers (hosho)….save the other details for a surprise to the listener.  There is Evonzo and Carnot in this song, two musicians known for what they’re voice did in chart-rocking hits.

Track 5: PREZHA MANAGER (featuring Natasha)

Party Mode….we do hope that you have dancing shoes, because high heels aren’t for the dance floor. This very bouncy dancehall tune is the type every club Dj would use to rock the club at 2AM, get everyone up in the cloud nine and write his name in history.

Track 6: MUFARO

More happiness on the turn-tables….keep your dancing shoes on, we’re not done yet. This album is not a sorrowful album. I mean, we have no reason for not making these efforts to forget about all the stresses. Happiness says “I’m coming” and Tuudeh says “Oh, come my love Mufaro!” …..you don’t get it, do you? You need to listen to the song in order to get it right the first time, coz he says it in Shona

Track 7: NDIRINDEI (featuring Terrifiq Terry)

Here we are. The music has just deepened emotionally. Let’s talk about life. Some want mansions while others simply need food and a blanket. Some need life while other want everything fancy about life. Tuudeh and Terrifiq simply want freedom. A mind that is free from the imprisonment of thoughts and desires. “Ndirindei” is more of a prayerful song. You will be moved. Try not to sob while listening.

Track 8: MHAMHA NADADDY (featuring Panashe)

This song goes out to all the parents all over. A song to praise a song to honour, a pledge of allegiance. This Zimdancehall tune by 22 year old Tuudeh Xaniiso and 13 year old Panashe Mari from Area 15, Dangamvura is all about giving back to the parents and teaching fellow children to respect their parents.

Track 9: NEW PAGE

You will know it was important to you when you’ve lost it. You will know you loved someone when you start to miss them so badly that you can’t help yourself. The best way to get list love is to just go after it….alone. There’s always a new page for everything and make sure the one you love is on every new page of your love story as….the one and only. Tuudeh made this song for you. Enjoy.

Track 10:  TESE TICHAFA

Death is a bust top and you will eventually get off this bus called life. Tese Tichafa, meaning r that, one day, the curtains will close and there shall come time when each and every one of us will be laid to rest in peace. Whatever you’re up to in life, stay conscious of the fact that Tese Tichafa. …so do what you need to day while you still can.

Track 11:  URI WINNER

Have you ever been treated like trash? Like rubbish? Like you are nothing? Well…me too. I’ve be told that I’m this…I’m that….I’m just nobody with nothing and going nowhere with life. These are not the exact words they said, but that’s what they meant. I’m here to tell you that you’re a winner…yes…URI WINNER! So stay strong, ramba wakashinga. I’ve been there at the bottom and I am here to tell you that there is a way up. It all begins inside your heart and mind. Believe you can do it and be determined to do it. Go out there and win…remember, you are a fountain in a desert, God once you to win, so that other may learn from you.

Track 12:  GHETTO NEROOTS (featuring Solja)
The village boy represents the roots, the village, and the countryside in the city, the ghetto, where the music plays the loudest. From the ghetto, a representative by the name Solja, represents the ghetto and together Tuudeh and Solja bring up an anthem of unity between the two lifestyles. The fusing of two worlds to form one song, one harmony. The song, Roots neGhetto.
