"Dear Parents" - A poem by 14 year old Audrey

```If you care about my future,
Like you say,
Then you have to fully commit,
You wanna know the biggest factors of childhood success?
It's family meals,
See I know sometimes you don't feel proud,
I may not be a straight 'A'
Student but I'm not stupid,
These tests may be 70% of my future but they are 0% of my future,
But don't worry,
I will pass this class and get through this,
But I need you to give me the space I need to be me,
And live true,
Cause the best feeling in the world it that,
Your own parents get you,
There's a passage in a book called the prophet,
By Mr Brown so he says,
Your children are not your children,
Their the sons and daughters of life longing for itself,
They come through you,
But not from you,
Though they are with you,
They do not belong to you,
You may give them your love,
But not your thoughts,
For they have their own thoughts,
You may house their bodies,
But not their souls,
For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow,
I would appreciate it,
If you give me the love,
I need to pursue my dreams,
See, if we are succeed,
All of us need "behaviour change",
On all fronts,
We talk about the future,
But the future is Now,
And it is created Now,
By all of us.```
