"The Beast" poem by Blakqcue Ice
The connection of leaves and lungs
Is higher than the valley, deeper
Than the tower. Greater
Than the gift of earth.
Being the beast of all beasts.
Preying from veins of greats
Heroes to kings, Queens.
Don't worry about slaves.
Known by all, feared by none.
Even an infant can kill me.
I never plan ,but I kill
Victims in a alarming rate.
When I roar, you joke, laugh.
In winter I hibernate
I turn your summer to winter
What takes, is a single kiss.
Thoughts produces nets and traps
While I continue to reign, my fame.
They always win battles
I never lost the war.
No more they say !
Small as I am,
Mosquito is my name.
I keep on biting.
